Effective Jan. 5, 2026, the Civil Division implemented the following changes to courtroom operations at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse, located at 111 N. Hill St., Los Angeles:
- Judge Phu Nguyen is assigned to Department 97 at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. All matters previously assigned to Department 97 are now assigned to Judge Phu Nguyen for all purposes, unless otherwise notified.
- Judge Jeffery D. McFarland is assigned to Department 92 at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. All matters previously assigned to Department 92 are now assigned to Judge Jeffery D. McFarland for all purposes, unless otherwise notified.
All matters currently calendared shall remain scheduled on the dates and times previously set, unless otherwise notified. Counsel and parties are instructed to indicate the assigned judicial officer and department on the first page of all documents filed with the clerk to ensure proper departmental assignment, calendaring of hearings and document routing.
