Bench Bar Updates

The Superior Court of Los Angeles County has closed the Airport Courthouse (located at 11701 S. La Cienega, Los Angeles) today, March 18, 2026, due to a regional power outage impacting the community. The Court is actively working with the Judicial Council of California, facility partners and Southern California Edison to restore power as expeditiously as possible.

Court Proceedings

Due to the regional power outage, all imperative matters calendared for today at the Airport Courthouse have been transferred to neighboring courthouses and all other matters have been continued. In custody arraignments (felony and misdemeanors) will be transferred to the Torrance Courthouse. Parties in all cases will be notified of any transfers or continuances.

Jury Service

Jurors currently serving as jurors in trials at the Airport Courthouse will be notified of their continuance dates by the Court.
