The Superior Court of California, County of Kern is pleased to announce a series of Pathways to the Bench sessions designed for individuals interested in pursuing a judicial career. The program provides an overview of the judicial application and vetting process, day‑to‑day responsibilities of judicial officers, and perspectives from members of the bench.
Attendees will hear directly from judicial leaders who will share their experiences and offer guidance to those considering a future on the bench.
Three sessions will be held:
May 12 – Mojave Court
June 10 – Ridgecrest Court
August 10 – Mojave Court
These events are open to attorneys, legal professionals, and community members who are interested in learning more about judicial service and the pathway to serving as a judge in California. Please RSVP for the event.
