Bench Bar Updates

The Superior Court of Los Angeles County is seeking Los Angeles County residents with meaningful jury duty experiences to be featured in an upcoming promotional video campaign. Interested participants may apply via this survey link before July 3, 2026.

The Court aims to feature a diverse range of voices and jury service stories, from unexpected connections like meeting a friend or partner, to moments that shifted their perspective on the justice system, to show the positive, human side of jury service and encourage greater participation.

Those selected will appear in a video shared across the Court’s public communications channels. The campaign will also highlight the civic contributions jurors make to the Court’s mission of providing equal access to justice through the fair, timely, and effective resolution of cases.

Campaign details:

  • Open to Los Angeles County residents only.
  • Applicants must have served jury duty at the Superior Court of Los Angeles County.
  • This is an unpaid opportunity.
  • To apply, complete the survey: Jury Duty: The Stories We Carry
  • The deadline to submit a story is July 3, 2026.

Submitting an interest form does not guarantee participation. The Court will contact selected applicants directly.

The jury awareness campaign is part of the Court’s 2025-2028 Strategic Plan and its ongoing commitment to building public trust in the Court through education, engagement, and transparency.
