To enhance the application process, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office has recently revised their Volunteer Application and background packet.
Previous versions of the application and background packet may still be on file with career service offices, faculty members, or bar associations. Those versions should be discarded and replaced with the revised application and background packet.

Afew key updates and changes made to the application process:
Applications are only being accepted during specific application windows.
All applications must now be submitted via email (physical drop-offs or mail-ins will no longer be accepted).
All attachments must be sent as a single PDF document, not as single page PDF files.
As we cannot process documents sent in JPG, JPEG, or HEIC formats, or via iCloud or Google Docs, documents sent in these formats will need to be resubmitted in PDF format.
PDF copies of applicant’s resume and government-issued photo ID (front and back of driver’s license or signature and photo ID pages of passport) must be submitted at time of applying.
Student IDs will only be accepted for minor students.
International students must provide proof of a valid authorization to work in the United States when applying, i.e. I-20/F-1 VISA documentation
There are new Recruitment emails to receive submissions, so those addresses should be noted when applying also.
