Summary

This program will present a focused webinar on selling real estate subject to IRS tax liens for the SFVBA Taxation Law Section.

The program is designed to equip tax and real estate professionals with the knowledge needed to confidently guide clients seeking to sell property encumbered by federal tax liens. Participants will gain practical strategies for transferring property even when an IRS is not fully satisfied, supported by real-world case scenarios incorporating both IRS guidance and practitioner experience.  By the conclusion of the webinar, attendees should be able to identify the various types of IRS lien resolutions and understand how to successfully pursue a discharge of property from a federal tax lien.
