In New England Country Foods, LLC v. VanLaw Food Products, Inc., the California Supreme Court interpreted Civil Code section 1668 to prohibit “limitations on damages for willful injury to the person or property of another.” In this webinar, Attorney David Axelrad will take a look at the meaning and purpose of section 1668, analyze the Supreme Court’s decision, and examine policy implications of the Court’s statutory interpretation.
