HRATCH J. KATCHIKARIAN

Attorney Hratch J. Karakachian counsels and represents clients in tax controversies and tax litigation matters before various tax agencies.
He is the owner/manager of his own CPA firm in Glendale providing tax preparation, tax consulting, and advisory services to high net-worth individuals and families and owner-operated enterprises in a variety of industries.
Hratch began his career at Arthur Andersen LLP in Los Angeles where he rose through the ranks from staff accountant to manager. Prior to establishing his own practice, he was also employed as a Senior Manager at Deloitte Tax LLP and HCVT LLP.
He holds a BS in Accounting, as well as a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis on real property development and management, from the University of Southern California where he was an Accounting Scholar, named to the Dean’s List, and graduated Beta Gamma Sigma.
Hratch earned his Master of Business Taxation from USC and his law degree from the University of West Los Angeles. He was admitted to the California Bar in 2012.
A senior adjunct faculty member at California Lutheran University’s School of Management, he has been teaching in the MBA in Financial Planning Program since 2013, and currently serves as Chair of the SFVBA’s Tax Section.
