The San Fernando Valley Bar Association Nominating Committee met on May 30 to select Officer and Trustee candidates for the 2018 Board of Trustees Election.
The Nominating Committee was chaired by SFVBA Immediate Past President Kira Masteller and included President Alan Kassan, President Elect Yi Sun Kim, Carol Newman, Matthew Breddan, Joanna Sanchez, Toni Vargas, Michelle Diaz, and Executive Director Elizabeth Post (ex officio).
The Committee nominated the following candidates for Officer:
- Christopher P. Warne Treasurer
- David G. Jones Secretary
- Barry P. Goldberg President Elect
- Yi Sun Kim President (automatic)
The Committee nominated the following nine candidates for six open Trustee seats:
- Kyle M. Ellis
- Heather Glick-Atalla
- Gary J. Goodstein
- Alexander S. Kasendorf
- Amanda Marie Moghaddam
- Samuel Price
- Allan D. Sarver
- Steven M. Sepassi
- Benjamin Soffer
The Board of Trustees Election commences the second week of August and culminates with Election Day on September 10, 2018.
