July 27, 2022 – California Supreme Court Chief Justice Tani Gorre Cantil-Sakauye has said that she will not seek a second 12-year term in November and will conclude her current term of office on January 1.
June 29, 2022 – Effective July 1, the newly enhanced features of the Advanced Attorney Portal will be available at no cost to all attorneys with a CourtID.
June 14, 2022 – With the statewide judicial branch COVID-19 rules set to expire on June 30, the LASC is rescinding two bail-related actions adopted and resuming normal operations.
