May 23, 2019 – The L. A. Superior Court has increased the number of unlawful detainer courtrooms to five at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in downtown Los Angeles.
As a result, matters currently scheduled for hearing in Department 94 will be heard in two new calendar/law and motion courtrooms, either Department 91 or Department 97. The affected cases will be heard on the same date and time as previously scheduled in Department 94.
In addition to the new calendar/law and motion courtrooms, three dedicated unlawful detainer trial courtrooms will be in operation. The five unlawful detainer courtrooms will be located on the sixth floor of the Courthouse.
