March 3, 2021 – The Los Angeles Superior Court is currently recruiting Temporary Judges with a required 3-hour, remote training session on Bench Conduct and Demeanor scheduled on April 14.

March 1, 2021 – The Los Angeles Superior Court has issued a new General Order extending last-day deadlines for criminal trials and specified hearings, as well as juvenile dependency cases.
February 23, 2021 – Effective today, the LASC will implement several bench and Commissioner changes in three Departments at the Hollywood and Van Nuys Courthouses.
February 22, 2021 – Effective Monday, March 1, 2021, video will be available for remote courtroom appearances via LACourtConnect for all family law case types, except AB 1058 hearings.
February 17, 2021 – The LASC Family Law Division has detailed changes, over the next two months, to the courtroom operations at three Los Angeles County courtrooms.
February 10, 2021 – Beginning at 6 a.m. on Friday, February 12, the Court’s website will be down until 8:00 a.m., Monday, February 15 due to a major system upgrade.
February 2, 2021- Judge Timothy M. Weiner is now assigned to the Governor George Deukmejian Courthouse in Long Beach and will preside over three departments.
February 1, 2021 – The Los Angeles Superior Court has authorized judicial emergency continuances for criminal, juvenile dependency matters.
January 11, 2021 – Effective immediately, the CJC in downtown Los Angeles, will implement A.M., P.M. calendars to limit the number of people entering the courthouse.
