More than 100 members were on hand to enjoy an evening of good food, networking and art at the SFVBA’s Membership Appreciation Party, Friday, June 10, in the SFVBA Complex Courtyard in Woodland Hills.
A raffle for a variety of gift prizes from Amazon gift cards to Apple headphones was held, as was a first-time exhibit featuring art work produced by Bar members. Among those displaying their works were exhibit organizers Morgan Halford and Alan Kassan.
Highlighting the art show was a collection of drawings produced by Steve Werblun, the award winning courtroom sketch artist.
Werblun, who began his career sketching for the Philadelphia Daily News, has produced sketches of the trials of Rodney King, O.J. Simpson, Anna Nicole Smith and many others that have been distributed worldwide by the Associated Press and other new agencies, as well as appearing on both national and local television news channels.
