The SFVBA Nominating Committee met on May 25 to select officer and trustee candidates for the 2017-2018 Board of Trustees. The Committee was chaired by Immediate Past President Carol Newman and included SFVBA President Kira Masteller, President Elect Alan Kassan, Trustees Heather Glick-Atalla and Michelle Diaz, Past Presidents Adam Grant and Caryn Sanders, and Taxation Section Co-Chair Ronald Hughes.
The Committee nominated the following members for officers:

Twelve candidates were nominated for six open trustee seats on the 20-member Board:

Electronic voting begins the second week of August and votes will be tabulated on Election Day, Friday, September 8, 2017. SFVBA Officers are elected to one-year terms and Trustees are elected to two-year terms. New trustees and officers will be sworn in at the SFVBA Installation Gala on October 19 at the Skirball Center.
