Due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no physical access to the United States Bankruptcy Court for any court hearings before June 30, 2020 , “absent a specific order so authorizing access by the presiding judge establishing the necessity of an in-person hearing,” according to a new General Order issued by the United States Bankruptcy Court’s Central District of California.
The Order, under the signature of Chief Judge Maureen A Tighe, also outlines the handling of Social Security Number statements, mediations, opening of filing windows, and the Court’s phased reopening plans.
