The Los Angeles Press Club evaluated more than 1,700 entries and has announced the finalists for its 61st Annual Southern California Journalism Awards Contest.
According to the LAPC, the San Fernando Valley Bar Association’s Valley Lawyer magazine has been named a finalist in two categories: “In-House or Corporate Publications” and “Personality Profiles.”
The first category recognizes “consistent editorial and graphic quality standards” through calendar year 2018, while the second focuses on a single article “profiling individuals in the political, business or arts fields.”
The final awards will be presented at a Gala held June 30 at the Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
