LASC Presiding Judge Eric C. Taylor has elected to extend to August 13 relief for criminal trials and juvenile dependency hearings that was previously granted to him by California Supreme Court Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye in early July.
The original relief was set to expire on July 30.
