December 30, 2021 – The Los Angeles County Superior Court has issued a new General Order extending certain Juvenile Dependency deadlines through January 28, 2022.
Dependency Court Expansion in LASC East District
December 30, 2021 –Effective January 3, 2022, the LASC’s Juvenile Dependency Division will launch a pilot satellite courtroom at the Pomona South Courthouse.
Court Unveils New Back-to-Normal Plan
December 7, 2021 – The LASC has launched its Normalization of Operations Work plan (N.O.W.) to restore its criminal operations to pre-pandemic levels of efficiency.

December 6, 2021 – The L.A. Superior Court has issued a new General Order extending certain Juvenile deadlines through December 31, 2021.
New Program Eases Criminal Case Backlogs
November 30, 2021 – The LASC will receive $9.2 million in funding from the new Early Disposition Program (EDP) to address criminal case backlogs and reduce delays.
New LASC Online Dispute Resolution Program
November 29, 2021 – Starting December 6, parties in some Unlawful Detainer cases will be able to resolve their disputes online, for free and without direct Court intervention.
Judge Mentor Program – One Year On
November 17, 2021 – The LASC’s Judicial Mentor Program, which pairs judges with attorneys interested in judgeships, has seen its success spread across the country.
LASC Juror Transport Program Expanded
October 21, 2021 – The LASC has expanded its juror transportation programs to cover costs of public transit during jury service at selected courthouses in L.A. County.
