Effective today, bench changes will be implemented in the Mental Health, Juvenile Dependency and Family Law Departments at the Hollywood Courthouse and the Van Nuys East Courthouses.
- Judge Ronald Owen Kaye is reassigned from Department 426 at the Alfred J. McCourtney Juvenile Justice Center to Department 213 at the Hollywood Courthouse. Judge Kaye’s primary assignment changes from Juvenile Dependency to Mental Health.
- Commissioner Laura Streimer is reassigned from Department 213 at the Hollywood Courthouse. Beginning March 15, Commissioner Streimer will be assigned to Department D at the Van Nuys East Courthouse and her primary assignment changes from Mental Health to Family Law.
Counsel and parties are instructed to indicate the assigned judicial officer and department on the first page of all documents submitted for filing, to ensure proper departmental assignment, calendaring of hearings and document routing.
