The Family Law Division of the Los Angeles Superior Court will implement several changes courtroom operations at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in downtown Los Angeles.
Effective July 6, 2021:
- Judge David W. Swift is reassigned from Department 25 to Department 59.
- Matters previously assigned to Department 59 will be assigned to Judge Swift for all purposes. All matters currently calendared in Department 59 shall remain scheduled on the dates and times previously set, unless otherwise notified.
- Commissioner Doreen B. Boxer is reassigned from Department 59 to Department 25.
- All matters previously assigned to Department 25 will be assigned to Commissioner Boxer for all purposes.
All matters currently calendared in Department 25 shall remain scheduled on the dates and times previously set, unless otherwise notified. Counsel and parties are instructed to identify the assigned judicial officer and department on the first page of all documents filed with the clerk, beneath the case number.
