February 1, 2023 – The LASC is offering substantial incentives to retain and recruit official court reporters amid a staffing shortage. The incentives are being funded with the help of nearly $10 million in state funding.
December 8, 2022 – The anticipated rollout of new features to LACourtConnect for probate in December, and for civil, family law, and traffic in early 2023 has been delayed due to the holidays.
November 25, 2022 – The deadline to register for the last session of the LASC’s Civil Trial Advocacy Program is Monday, December 5, 2022. The session will cover effective closing arguments.
November 14, 2022 – Effective December 1, the Court’s Pro Bono Probate Settlement Program will resume settlement conferences for trust, estate, guardianship, and conservatorship matters.
November 10, 2022 – Effective November 20, the registration window to appear remotely through LACourtConnect (LACC) in several areas of the law will change temporarily.

October 20, 2022 – Effective Monday, the Child Waiting Rooms at three courthouses in Long Beach, Whittier, and the Antelope Valley will reopen. Two Valley Rooms will reopen by the end of the year.
